How It All Started…

As a busy mom, wife and business owner, I understand how challenging it is to stay on top of the week-to-week demands of cooking healthy meals, squeezing in a workout and finding some quiet time to recharge each week. I know how important it is, but the pressure of a crazy schedule can dictate whether we eat out or skip the gym one too many times.

I was determined to not be driven by my circumstances and one day decided to do something about it…which started with a piece of paper and a pen. I took a few minutes on a Sunday afternoon and planned out our dinners for the week and which 5 days worked best for me to exercise.

And then I wrote it down.

That’s it. That’s the secret trick. I invested a few minutes before the week started and decided what was important to me and my family and I wrote it down. I made a commitment to stick with the plan.

 

A Plan You Can Stick With

The first step is making a plan. You have to go to battle at times to fight for good habits that will lead to a healthier life. It doesn’t just happen, you need to plan ahead and find a way to keep yourself accountable.

In addition to using with my family, my coaching clients at 7Core Fitness, my personal training business started using it! I found for myself and my clients it kept us accountable, relieved stress and helped us be successful for the week.
